Working together, building dragons, hanging out in gardens, and inflating everything we can

The results of teamwork

What may seem like a daunting task can be made so much easier when everyone comes together. That's what happened at Reynolds Elementary School when Pre-K through 5th grade participated in the construction of a giant rainbow for their school.

Almost 500 students took part in the building of a rainbow Bubble Mural and bumblebees. Each student performed tasks suitable for their age and ability. Math and physical education came into play as well, as kids learned the relationship between their sculpture and the graph they were copying.

Dragons at the Rochester Public Library

Last month, during National Library Week, we had an opportunity to create a fun piece at the Central Library of Rochester. This parent and child read together from a jumbo book made just for dragons. Due to popular demand, we even extended the display a few extra days, giving some more people a chance to get out and visit.

Spring is here

Flowers are finally blooming here in Western NY. We didn’t feel like waiting and got a jump start on our gardening with this installation for the Eastman School of Music.

Nylon inflatables

It’s always fun when we get to play with another medium. Kelly is working remotely, via Zoom, on inflatables of a different sort. These fabric inflatables will be used by POGO Dance in some upcoming performances. They needed something that would last longer and take on different forms than our usual latex balloons. We can’t wait to see these air-filled pillows on stage.
